To replace the 2N2148: I used a 2N4905, but an MJ15016 might work too. Replace D3/D10 with a germanium 1N34A. Use one si + one ge diode for D1+D2. If the output has crossover distortion then use si + si. If more is needed, then use si+si+ge. Keep a ge transistor for Q1 & Q8. Use 1N1307 if you cannot find a TIA02. MJ15015G transistors work well for output. Don't use really old MJ15015's, they have much lower fT. Note that my amps have no C6/C18 .001 uF capacitors as shown in the blueprint schematic. This may have been a tuning factor when using different parts (transistor types.)
